2017 vs 2022 power difference
2017 vs 2022 power difference
My work truck is a 2017 f250 single cab with 75000 miles. My personal truck is a 2022 f250 extended cab with 12000 miles. The work truck I feel has loads more low end tourqe then my 22. Both are 3.73 gears. I know the tourqe numbers are the same on paper, do you think I'm just imagining it? Or maybe the weight of the cabs make a difference? I also noticed the exhaust on the work truck is clean as a whistle, while mine is all black and sooted up.
How are both trucks configured? If the work truck is an XL single cab with nothing outfitted or being hauled then its considerably lighter and has the smallest diameter factory fitted tire. If your personal truck is anything above a base XL model it has larger diameter tires, more options adding weight, and considerably more weight already due to cab size.
