EEC swap
I’m having trouble finding some specific information, seeing that the only resource I could find, which is the Motorcraft website .. is not working
My question is will, my EEC Be OK to swap with another ?
My vehicle symptoms include fuel pump, staying on all the time rough driving extremely poor fuel consumption, not shifting from one to two and hesitation.
I’ve completed a lot of work on this truck, and after recently, pulling the computer, I was not surprised to find it in extremely rough shape.
Amongst a lot of corrosion, it appears the capacitors were almost falling off the board.

The tag needs to be identical

They are all speed density for your era (the SD48E) and they are all 12A650's
You are looking for the 3 letter code in big lettering and a possible number associated with it

thanks for the info. I found someone to try a fix mine. I will up date when I get it back to see she is working good.
