How do you remove XLT side window trim?

I have a super cab 1988, XLT lariat. The plastic trim that goes on the rear side window is bulging out and I need to remove it to clean underneath. How do you remove that trim on the outside of the side window?

I don't know this for sure, but I am betting it is held in with nuts on studs accessed from the interior.

Yep, pull the interior trim panels, and you will see the studs with nuts holding it in. you will need to re-seal it when you put it back in.
