Hello, new here. I recently purchased a 2007 f150 5.4l 4x4 with 259k miles on it for “light duty work” around the house. Worked fine for a few weeks but the CEL turned on. It has a constant p0453 (evap system pressure/switch circuit high) code. I tried to start it up yesterday and it immediately smelled the odor of gas, black smoke from the exhaust and the engine had a rough idle as if it wanted to shut off then it finally died on me. Now I have a P0453 and P0308. I can’t get it to start now. It sounds like it wants to turn over. What kind of symptoms can I get from a bad fuel pressure sensor?
