Hey all I have 94 350 crew cab with a 460 in it was replacing the lock cylinder and had the kiddos with me one of them hit the fuel tank selector switch and now neither tanks fuel pumps want to prime up and start the truck now it could be coincidence but what could cause the problem I’ve pulled codes 56 and 65 for what it’s worth

For a 1994 truck, you should have 3 digit codes, not two digit codes.
Does your check engine light illuminate when you initially turn the key to "run"?
Does the check engine light extinguish as you're cranking the engine?
Does it re-illuminate when you stop cranking?

That is a great question I’d have to look after a bit of digging I shotgunned a fuel tank selector switch and that solved part of the problem the truck now runs and drives again however after switching over to the rear tank she just shut off so I think the rear fuel pump went out cause she swapped back over to front and carried on and knowing that she’s a three code the code is actually a 565 which according to Haynes is canister purge circuit failure so I gotta look at that now. The joys of buying a new truck… all the gremlins come scurrying out
