Just out of curiosity, how much did you guys pay for these filter canisters? The ones I found are pretty pricy on EBay. Racor CV4500, correct?

wow! For that price I’ll let the oil drip on the ground! Are there any other filter solutions you’ve come across?

From my experience, the small cheap ones backpressure the crankcase. This is where I got disgusted w/ MishiMoto. They took forever to come out w/ their CCV filter - had MANY delays in getting it to the market, and what I saw was STILL insufficient for or engines. I mean MAYBE it would be OK for the VERY BASIC horsepower, and if there was very little "blow-by", but it was VERY, VERY marginal ..... and IMO not appropriate for older engines, and not for engines with ANY power adders.

Funny, I was actually looking at that one. With the oil dripping out of my CAC tube, I gotta do something. I really don’t want this oil getting back to the intake again.
