Can anyone tell me where the vacuum lines hookup so I can replace them Ive marked both of them with purple lines indicating where they are and the direction they are going. The truck model is a 1983 Ford F150 i6. I’m not sure what that stem is called that the hoses are coming from “evap canister”? I seen some diagrams but they are hard to understand when I do not know the names of some of the items. Tia
You have marked the large "vacuum tree" where any component that needs manifold vacuum is hooked. Could be anything. What do you have around the engine compartment that is not hooked up?
As said that is called a vacuum tree and has many vacuum ports.
Note not all of them are used and it could be someone put a hose on it with a bolt / screw in the end to stop a vacuum leak.
A rubber hose and bolt / screw last longer than the caps you get at the parts store.
On the radiator support there should be a vacuum routing sticker.
You just need to follow each hose on the sticker and then find it in the engine bay and follow it to make sure it is the same.
Dont forget the air filter assy has vacuum hoses going to it.
Any left over ports that are open you will need to plug.
