I have a ranger xlt and the jus had a new fender put on and i jus got new ranger emblems and ive seen people with all chrome emblems. now ives tried it in the past but behind the black paint stuff it turned like a shiney green type not chrome i used asitone. i jus kinda poured the astione on it and let it sit for a couple mins and rubbed off turned green then i thought why not use chrome spray paint that worked but didnt look right!!!!!!!!! can u please help on the spacifics on how to turn it jus right!!!! please my truck looks funny wit holes in the sides lol thanks
I'm not 100% sure about the question but it sounds like you soaked the emblems in acetone and they changed color. I believe most new ones are plastic and acetone can damage some plastics.
can anyone tell me step by step excatly how they did it cause i tried all that befor and it didnt work it turned green should i polish it!! and if soo would the green disapear
lol well thanks for the help and i about a week ago i ordered some of the same emblems for my ranger and i am not sure if there metal or not how can u tell? these new ones seem like metal but arnt heavy thanks again
