Hello everybody. I have a 2018 F250 and want to change out my tailgate to one with the step. Mine is the old school handle to open but with back up camera, light and electric lock. I found one (2022) identical to mine with step but has push button to open. Will this work with my existing wiring harness. If not, what type of mods do I need to make to make it work? TIA

Probably would have to swap the handle over to the one like your original has.
The other thing you need if you haven't thought about it, is there is a support for the step tailgate that bolts to the back of the bed, adds support for the extra weight of people stepping on the step.
