Far as I’m aware there’s only one size “pickup box” bed for the OBS. Only differences were the cab n chassis, and if it was a cab n chassis the pickup box wouldn’t fit on it at all.
That one looks like it has the same amount of room in front of the fenders. so it should be good.
I'm c
onsidering this out-of-state purchase, but am wondering something.....
How does this have a standard bed on a 137" wheelbase? Was there a factory option for a production bed for that frame length on the f-450's?
Most likely someone has built brackets to mount the standard bed into the narrow SD frame. I have seen it on other things and bet this is the case here.
putting a bed on a c&c frame isnt my question. I am wondering how its possible to have a production factory long bed sitting on a 137" wb frame, without a 4" gap between the cab and bed

certainly possible someone took two trucks and made one. You’ve given us very little to work with, and looking at those pictures it looks like the bed is slightly different color than the cab. There’s no shots of how the axles or the bed are mounted to the frame so there’s no way to tell what’s been modified.
it has L-brackets bolted to the frame that the bed then bolts to. I knew it had to have those to put a factory bed on it. My question is how is it possible to have no 4" gap between the cab and bed on a 137" wheelbase? the only thing I can think of is that someone moved the rear axle and springs/perches forward 4".....unless there was some speical 137" wheelbase 4" longer bed that was some special option from the factory. Ive never heard of one, but Ive never really looked at super duty trucks before either. If this was a manual truck, Id buy it. As its an auto, im considering it.
someone could also have made the bed 4 inches longer in front.
not that hard to do if you know what you are doing.
i used to make custom beds for cab chassis trucks.
my F-SuperDuty was setup for an 8 foot utility body, so the pickup bed looks stock after making tabs to bolt the bed to.
i also did a 4X4 conversion to it using F350 axles.
i once saw a chevy pickup with a 12 foot long bed. had longfoot across the tailgate.
