I received a bunch of "FordPass reward points" after the purchase of a new 2023 5.0L. If you've bought either of these tonneau covers directly from Ford, what do you like/dislike about them? Thank you.

I would choose the one that gives maximum bed access when folded/rolled/retracted. I selected the hard folding style that pivoted up and blocks the rear window when fully retracted (Bak-Flip style) so I would be able to use the whole bed and I've used it in retracted position three times in the year and a half I've had the truck.

 

I did not get them from Ford, but I have Truxedo soft, roll up covers on two trucks and both work fine and seem to be good quality. I have had one for four years; the other I have only had for one year.

 

I have the roll up. I have seen others with the tri fold. I prefer the roll up as it will give you all of your bed for access. I also have seen some with latch and hinge problems with the tri folds. FWIW...

 

I bought the Revolver from Truck Hero. It is similar to a flexible roll up cover previously offered by Ford. The Revolver is an updated version. I like it better than the folding top.
