I removed this thread..... My intent was to provide a detailed alternative mounting solution for forward auxiliary lighting -LED light bars. Instead, there were as many posts commenting on driver courtesy using their high beam headlights and light bars, as there were questions or comments about the install. Sorry
Anything else mother? Y'know, we're not all morons on this site. I made this post to perhaps assist others facing a similar dilema - how and where to mount auxilary lighting - not to illicit a comment on driving courtesy.....I think most of us get it ......... geeesch
Easy there... I did not read his question as a rebuke or attack and your over the top defensive reaction to it is a bit much.
Back to the topic at hand: If you power the relay from an upfitter switch then you can easily disable the led bar when using the high beam harness as a trigger. I don't think that was understood when the last question was raised.

Unfortunately the highways are full of retina-melting aftermarket lighting fools. I assume you are one of the responsible motorists that turn it off for oncoming traffic. It is still illegal to equip your truck with this way in most states.
I really want to add some LED's to the front of my '23. Would be very handy at the farm. I just don't know where to add them. Thanks for the insight and showing how you did it. How do you like them when using them?
Clean install and I'm thinking of copying your install approach. I'm looking for a slim single row 30" curved bar with a combo pattern. Hoping to tuck it in as far back on the mounting pad and as close to the grill as possible. Found a couple options so far (31.5 inches end to end). What 22" bar did you run with?
I re-read his post - it was not a question......... He made a "statement" "Y'all please turn these things off when other traffic is near, either when following behind someone or when coming on from the opposite direction."
I made a request to the general public users of these lights.
I drive 75K or more miles a year and every single night on the road I get accosted by people who have no courtesy about these things, and it creates a very dangerous situation.
You being a courteous driver is great, but there may be others reading this thread who don't give a thought to this situation, maybe my request will cause them to think about it and do the right thing.
If someone forgets to dim their headlights I give them a quick flash of mine and it reminds most of them to dim or shut their aux. lights off without being a major deal.
