Ecoboost Timing off
Ecoboost Timing off
Did a timing chain/phaser replacement on ny truck recently and after rebuild, check engine light came on showing one of the exhaust timings are off. I can’t remember which side, it’s been a while since I checked it. Engine runs perfectly fine no rough idle or anything so I’m assuming the sprocket is only a tooth off. I really don’t want to tear this thing down again, is it fine to drive it like that and if so, can anything be done about the check engine light?
