I just checked the timing on my 1989 F-150 5.0. I can't seem to find the timing mark with the light. I marked it in white before I started. She has a slight rough idle and wanted to confirm timing. I found no vacuum leaks also.
If by chance the timing could be out 180, how can she run so well? I figured that if its out that much, she wouldnt run at all.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. I like to do as much of my own repairs as I can.

Pull the SPOUT out before you time it with a light.
