Any good ideas for what to replace this "4x4" decal with? I always felt that it was too much badging anyway and it basically says "I didn't choose the FX4 package".
^+1 I bought my truck late in the evening and the first thing I did the next day was to remove the FX4 stickers.
Ditto on the first thing I did. I ordered with 4x4, AT tires, and skid plates. I installed Bilstein 5100's when the truck hit 60 miles and added the hill descent control switch soon after. Still have to do the forscan mod to add hill dc. I don't care as much what it looks like as much as what it does. Function over form - go, not show.

I've gone a couple of different ways. One was to just remove it. The other was to find a color I liked better and replace it. Last time I found some nice FX4 decals on ebay. They looked authentic and supposedly were licensed by Ford but in a color I'd never seen. No one but me knew that the truck was not an FX4.
You might also get a local graphics shop to come up with a design and color of your liking, I know that we have a shop in my area that's pretty darned good and does rear window graphics for me. I've never cared for the colors on these factory 4x4 decals.
I took the hideous sticker off my 2018 when I first got it. The "Sport 4x4" sticker on my '24 is smaller, and blends in with the paint pretty good....so I may just leave it on there.

That looks like a replica of the OBS stickers from '92-'97.
That decal is ghosted in nicely. I like the throwback to the old Off Road models. My stepdad ordered and bought a new 1997 Off Road. Always admired that truck.
