Took mine off the day I brought it home - along with the dealer logo license plate frame.....
+1 and the 6.7 badges also. The ford badges are going soon. I would like to blank out the fender badges also. All that crap should be an option, it's not free.
I think it looks better with something there. The bare look to me make it look like it was in a wreck and got half a repair job at the body shop. JMO though.
I'll probably get a set of the factory FX4 stickers and put them on the rear of my flatbed the day I finally get one. Similar to this.
I like the FX4 or 4X4 sticker that comes with the black appearance pkg. On a dark color they don't look bad and are more subdued without the red in them. I would swap out my standard FX4 stickers for the BAP version if I wasn't afraid of screwing up the install.
I thought about removing my Tremor stickers. But haven’t. I wasn’t planning on keeping my truck as long as I have , and figured it’s just to leave it as is for the next guy. Stickers just aren’t something I care very much about.
Any good ideas for what to replace this "4x4" decal with? I always felt that it was too much badging anyway and it basically says "I didn't choose the FX4 package".
I like the look of that decal on your color truck, I would leave it alone.

I don’t keep vehicles very long and my experience is modified from stock reduces value.
I will install tonneau cover and bedbug. These keep the bed pristine. Then remove them before disposing of the truck to expose the pristine scratch free truck bed. I’ll move them to new truck. My current 2024 450 has the tonneau and bedbug that originally installed on my 2022 450.
Decals remain on trucks other than dealer identifiable decals which I remove.

I would never install bedbugs in my truck, even if the intent was to remove them later…………….

I understand. It depends on how you use the truck bed. The truck is used primarily to tow our 5th wheel. We don't haul Hay, gravel or rock. We load it up with furniture, suitcases, firewood etc. The bedrug keeps things from getting damaged and scratched.
I've had Bedrugs in every one of my trucks for the last 10 years. 3 Bedbugs in 10 trucks in 10 years, One bedrug was in 4 F-150s, another was in 4 F-350 SRWs and the current is in the 2nd 450.
If it were a Farm truck then a spray in bedliner would be my preference.

You put BEDBUG in the original post...hence the joke...was kinda funny :-)

Right, bedrugs I totally get for certain use cases like yours. BEDBUGS however would never make my truck mods list.

The truck I recently traded was not an FX4 but has the decals. I don't know if they gave me any more money for FX4 but they're sure advertising the truck as having the FX4 package.
