Fuel pump failure?
My '95 F150 4x4 5.8 auto trans seems to be having a fuel pump failure on front tank as it runs perfect on rear tank. Could it be fuel pump. fuel filter or what? 192k miles and both pumps are original. Any ideas how to empty front tank as I just filled both tanks.

What kind of fuel pump failure? What is wrong with the front pump? There is only one fuel filter for both tanks so …no. Does the front pump run? Disconnect the hose at the filter run the hose into a gas tank. Jump the EEC self test connector to keep the pump running. Done.

If I start the engine on the rear pump all is good until I switch over to the front pump and then the engine acts like it's running out of fuel. If I try to start engine on front pump it seems to fire on a few cylinders but won't take off. Switch to rear pump and it fires right up immediately.
