Hi guys, hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction. I have a 1979 F-250 with ac, I am needing a Vacume switch valve and everywhere I’ve looked they are not in stock. Any ideas Thanks
Have a look at this thread. It's going to be hard to locate anything new but if you keep searching with the part # like NOS on Ebay eventually one will emerge. Used is hit and miss but still a possibility.
So you need the 2 contact, 8 port one I would guess? So looks like the plastic stud with the star washer broke off? I have sold a number of used ones (that were reused just fine), to a few members on here. In the pic that is the controller turned up side down. So that broke switch is the bottom one.
The plastic stud breaks off the lower switch when you hot rod the lever. And the rubber gasket is sticky or been in place a while. No idea how the 2 contact part got broke.
I have a couple left, in case you can not locate a new, repop or NOS one. PM me if interested.
