Not my vehicle but I'm working on 99 f250 v10 here is the issue the owner had it parked and when he tried to move truck it shut it self off on the move while reversing, the fuel light was on apparently but he didn't notice it, so my train of thought was air in the lines and maybe a new fuel pump wouldn't hurt, I just replaced the fuel pump (oe was still on) located the shredder valve but i couldn't get to open up (unless I need a specific tool to do it) but once I put the new pump I gave it a bump to crank and it did try to start but no dice. So I started checking the interwebs and found that maybe the relay was out so I switched the fuel pump and the blower motor relay to see what would happen and it wanted to start but feel on it's face, then I went into the inside the cab fuses to check the pcm fuses and I found fuses that had different amps bigger than the ones that were recommended; now I have replaced all the fuses with the recommended fuses and the same time found that the truck didn't have the pcm diode (<if that matters) and it still won't start (I haven't Checked the inertia switch yet) but by me doing this have I vierd myself into an unrelated issue?
any all help would be appreciated thx
1. Does the tach indicate a low engine speed while cranking?
2. Does it have spark?
3. What is the fuel pressure with the ignition key on?
