Wiper Arm Question

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the Bumpside game. Picked up a clean rust-free 72 F250 Arizona truck over the weekend here in Long Island, seller bought it from the estate of the older gentleman who passed during the restoration. Shame.

It's missing windshield wiper arms, and I'm assuming there's cross fitment from other vehicles. I see all sorts of 73-79s wiper arms, and the previous generation, but just sponsored search results that lead nowhere for the 69-72s. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'd post photos if I could, but I need a few more posts first.

There's a pair on eBay for over $1,000. Are the originals really that rare?? I don't care about original or not, I just want to be able to drive in the rain.

Thanks in advance! Truck came with an extra black step bumper, if anyone in the NY area needs it its yours...

So I stayed up late and found a pair of wiper arms on EBay and snagged those.

I have a few other questions but I’m sure I’ll get ignored since I’m new to the forum.

LMC has them in-stock for $16.95 each:

Please post your other questions, usually a post is not answered because others don't have an answer for your question, not that you are new to the forum.

LMC must have just gotten a batch in stock because over the weekend, it said “unavailable.” So, that worked out. Thanks!

For a split second I thought I’d bought the wrong truck. If I was going to pay that much for parts I’d have chosen a Jaguar or something. Yikes….

Thanks for the responses!

Welcome to FTE.
I'm late to the party.
Seems like years ago somebody showed on a thread how he shortened Dentside (73-79) or Bullnose (80s the next gen) wiper arms to fit our Bumpsides. This just to help future folks who land on this thread.

Welcome to the forum I’m new myself but as far as parts for your bump I recommend getting a magazine from all the classic car parts like npd, lmc , classic and obsolete car parts and summit racing is always a great place because over 100 bucks free shipping and on these old trucks you can easily buy 100 bucks worth of stuff lol
