Psom inter changeable?
Got a 1997 f350 7.3 powerstroke with a new reman E40d been chasing down a issue where randomly usually at higher speeds (55+) the truck shifts to neutral, when this happens i pull over then truck dosent want to shift outta 1st so have to turn off then back on then can countine driving. Replace nurtral safety switch, VSS didn't fix it. Took psom out to do a visual examination of it looked almost brand new. Put it all back togeather issuse went away for like a month or so then started happening again the day. Could it be the connector coming lose and messing with things. Cause I feel like it would just not work at all if that was it? Also can I put a psom from a 150 1992 5.8 to see if that fixes it?
