Talking new exhaust

Hey yall, ive got a 90 model full size bronco with a 302. Im wanting to run true duals, with possible glass packs, from the manifold back. I want to run it out right in front of the rear tires. This is where the problem comes in, the exhaust place here said they can but they will have to bend around the transfer case then back around. Which means the drivers side pipe will be longer than the passenger side because of having to go around the transfer case. Will this make it sound like crap or will it still sound good. Right now it has two cats, that will be removed. They suggested instead of doing that, to go out the back and angle out the side back there. Is there anyway that i can run it in front of the rear tires with that transfer case in the way and it still sound good? Like i said its a 90 model bronco, so you should know the short wheel base that it is. Is the transfer case going to stop me from doing this, or will i still be able to run out in front of the rear tires with 4" cannon tips. Any help would be great, and any other exhaust suggestions would be great. I do know without a doubt ill be running glass packs or straight pipes with 4" tips, 18 inches long.

Thanks

All you need to do is run the pipes to the outside of the frame.... That will take care of all your T-case problems and let you have the pipes be the same lenghts etc.. I did this on my 78 Bronco, Come off the manifold and bend right behind the radius arm bracket to the outside of the frame. If you want you can have it bent up a bit to ride beside the frame so it's hidden better. I don't know how the 90 is but on the 78 it's not very noticable going under the frame and back up.

Sounds like a cool idea. Would it be better if i went out and got 'cobra' style side pipes? Also im planning on lifting it 4 inches, will this be a problem? If i did this, the cobra style side pipes would look cool, especially if i could them with a wide mouth tip.

Thanks

Side pipes would be pretty loud in the cab... also be careful about running the pipes on the driver's side frame rail. There are fuel lines running on that side.

akford, so would it be best to just go out the back and angle out the sides then? Dumps would be to loud in the cab for sure. I would go out the back but have heard to many ppl say that it will black up my back glass and also to much fumes into the bronco. What would u suggest for an exhaust system?

I agree, side pipes would probably be pretty loud. I know exiting 2 1/4" pipes infront of the rear wheels wasn't bad but side pipes are a different story. As far as exhaust coming in the back window I didn't notice any difference, but I don't run with the window down.
If your planning on going with a lift (frame or body?) I would consider going with fenderwell headers, that way everything starts and ends on the outside of the frame.

Im planning on going with a 4 inch susp. lift and 33" tires. How is exiting 3" pipe in front of the rear wheels different than running side pipes that exit in front of the rear wheels? Since im going with 4" tips 18-20"s long, would it be best to just go out the back, or angle out the back or what?

Thanks
