I have a 6.2 F250 and there is a misfire/popping noise coming through the intake. I’ve attached a YouTube video with the noise for a better understanding.
I don’t know what could possibly be causing this popping noise coming through the intake, I believe it’s a misfire on one of the cylinders, but I’m not getting any CEL‘s or trouble codes. I’ve already replaced all 16 plugs, 8 plug wires, and 8 coil packs and the issue is still here. I was thinking it might be a bad injector, but I’ve unplugged all the injectors, 1-by-1, and while each one was unplugged, I heard the popping noise at least a few times. What about misfire counts? NOT codes, the actual counts in Mode 6/Onboard Monitoring??

If you can get any of that you have an idea of where to focus.

You might look at valve springs. Try a leakdown if you can get any misfire counts

 

2nd that valve spring, i think #5 is common on pass side.

 

Im having the same Issue with my dads f250, sounds like its coming from the throttle body. Seen another guy swap out the evap purge valve, so Im trying that first. Anyone else find a solution? Truck hesitates pretty bad under acceleration but same noise as in your vid
