Hood switch location
I have a 2015 F250 with the 6.2. My remote start stopped working and every time I lock the truck it beeps twice loudly. I have made sure all the doors are shut and there are no engine lights, or trouble codes. I even cleared all codes to be safe. I double checked that the remote start is still enabled in the dash menu and it is. I just had the driver manifold replaced and I think the hood/remote start switch may have got knocked out of place or stopped working. Problem is I can’t find it. Does anybody know the location of this switch for the 2015 so I can check it. I can find a part number for a new one online the switch just seems to be missing. My truck was optioned with remote start from the factory, it’s not aftermarket.

I found it! The bolt fell out and it was hanging by the wiring harness under the intake. I got a spare bolt from the garage and everything is working again. No more double beep and remote start works.
