I did mine with POR15 under side and frame, then painted the bed inside and out after fully sand blasting and acid etching.
I'd also make a jig that lines everything up before you cut the old parts out. Basically bolt on some sq tube or angle iron so that it shows exactly where the new panel goes. Takes a bit of extra work, but you know it'll be exactly where it should be.
Does anyone have experience on the quality of Tabco vs AMD? AMD is cheaper after shipping. Says it's 19ga. I emailed Tabco several days to see what guage theirs is, but haven't got a reply.
