I’m about to to start ordering parts for the @pirate4x4_camo ProComp lift, and I noticed the fronts are +2 and the rear is +4. Why is this set up using 2 different spring heights? I understand the excursion is 2” less than F250 and +2 gives me closer to 4”. Does final ride height equal -2” front rake, lifting 4” in the front and 6” in the rear? Looking at some picture ya’ll posted the rake doesn’t look to be that noticeable.
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I have plenty more if you’d like to hear them.
If I remove the rear block, I’ll be removing the bump stop tab. Without the tab, it looks like the bump stop will make contact with axel if the suspension bottoms out.
There are options there too. Some just run without a bump stop, some ( myself included) use the PMF air bag tangs and airlift supplement air bags with an internal “jounce bumper” ( that’s what airlift calls bump stops for some reason).
Search for airlift 88340 kit for more detail.
….
Take a look at the PMF airbag tang/bumpstop plate. That's what I and others have used. I have airbags, but I assume it will work for the bump stops as well.
