Ahhh hard to measure pressure...
What if the pressure is higher, because phisics says that if diameter is smaller, pressure increase? Does will make any damage?
higher pressure will change timing of injector pump.
what i do is check pressure at schrader valve on fuel filter.
should be around 7 PSI cranking, and at least 1 PSI engine running full throttle.
You could drill out the fitting. I'm sure its that thick to withstand the high pressure of a hydraulic system. Our fuel system is low pressure so no need to be that thick.
I think you are probably over thinking this, yes its a restriction, but I'm not sure it would make too much of a difference unless you have a high performance turbo engine.
I have swapped those lines out with Parker PushLoc plus fuel hose. you will require an NPT -> ORB adapter fitting to a -6AN fitting. I do not recall the correct dimensions off the top of my head, but I can get back with the correct info after I get off.
