Have an F250 that has been parked for several months. Went to crank and nothing, not even a light came on.
Hooked up battery charger and charged each battery for 4 hours. Tried cranking again and no crank. Also the dashboard lights blink and the windshield wipers run. I'm thinking the batteries are too drained to charge.
Noticed there had been some moisture under the hood. Thinking it may be a bad PCM as well?
Plan to replace the batteries first and see what happens. Unfortunately, can't find the batteries receipt as bought them in 12/22. Hopefully the repair place will honor since it's in their system.
If your using a "smart" charger you may need to jumper charged battery to the dead one to fool the charger. Once it's started changing and had a few minutes to bring the dead battery up some you can unhook the jumpers and it should continue the charge.
