Hey there, I'm about to install a FASS fuel pump on my truck and am curious who else here has done so? I am more interested in where it was you drilled the hole for the pick-up tube, etc. Pics?
Just curiosity - why going with a FASS? The factory HFCM has a filter on it, as well as the secondary under the hood. With a blue spring, it should supply enough fuel for bigger injectors.

While that is true, last year when I was looking for a replacement pump, I tried two dealerships and not a single pump was to be found. It blew my mind.
I decided to go with FASS and try it out. In addition, I'll be putting an aftermarket pump cartridge in the OEM pump as a backup. Two is One and one is none.
Right now, I'm just curious where other mounted the stinger pass through on the top of the tank.
