I don't normally post in this forum but I think someone here would have the answer. I bought out a vintage parts supplier and have about 40 of these but there's nothing that identifies what they are. Thank you for your responses
Since you're posting them here I'm assuming they are supposed to be a Ford truck part, but I don't recognize them. Is that a number I see molded into the rubber on the top part?
I don't recognize them from any post WW2 vehicles so I'm presuming they're from possibly something that's pre model B era. There's so many parts on those vehicles that were used on both cars and trucks. At this point I'm thinking they are from the brackets of the front lighting system but I can't remember seeing them. Something to isolate vibration. The numbers only led to totally unrelated items that have nothing to do with anything automotive. I ran the pictures through Google pictures and got nothing but insulated mounting hardware.
I was thinking if the molds were taken from real Ford parts with the part number molded in, it might give us a clue as to application if you could share the number.
Found out that they are a tie rod, drag link rubber bushing and cover. Pretty fancy for a suspension piece on a 28 to 34 Ford. My 93 year old neighbor dropped by for a minute and saw them, started telling me how they reminded him of a suspension part. Sorry for the inconvenience but I've processed a lot of parts in this lot and nothing was obviously related to these things.
