When did Ford first put a CD player in the dash of their trucks? My '92 F250 has an aftermarket Kenwood head unit, but the seller kept the OEM factory radio/cassette player, and I have to say I like that look much better, aesthetically speaking. Plus I can read it easier in the sunlight, compared to the Kenwood unit...
Is there a "factory Ford" head unit I could put in there that has a CD player? I guess I really don't care if it's from a car, as long as it "looks" factory.
(Red dash pad is from my F150, as I haven't gotten around to ordering another one yet.)
Is it For Sale/are you looking to sell? And if so, does it work?
And I see you have a '96, so would this fit my '92?
Feel free to drop me a PM, and thanks!
Jim
No idea ,its not mine i googled obs ford radio with cd and apparently its rare. I would think 94-97 but i have 0 way to know that. Maybe trucks with amps, or maybe a bronco only feature kinda thing. I think it would prob go for a lot on ebay if people are selling broken original base level radios on ebay for 60+$ !! What!

The HVAC controls and radio out of the Panther platform cars are a direct swap also. A guy did a digital HVAC control W/steering wheel controls out of a Crown Vic and everything worked.
