ASF-42C too small for head thread
Hey guys, have u seen this? I have a 1981 F100 with 302 auto.
I purchased a set of ASF-42C plugs but went to theead the first one and it almost fell in not catching any threads.
now, the previous owner added a 4bbl Edelbrock and a Holley Contender intake. I’m now wondering if they changed heads to 351?? The 351 uses ASF-52C. Would they be reasonably bigger? Any suggestions?

Figured it out!
Went to return the plugs to Oreilly’s. I’m friendly with a couple guys there so they did some digging and found the heads are 1969-1970 style with much bigger plug threads.
