Hello all- I am swapping a 302 into my 66 F100 with a L6. What are the correct engine mounts? Every time I call a Summit or LMC- you would think I just asked them to cure cancer over the phone. Thanks for any help.
If you are talking about the engine perches that bolt to the crossmember. Read this, Comparison Photos of Engine Perches - FORDification.com
If you are talking about the rubber isolators, you can get those at about any parts house. Just tell them you need them for a 73, F100 with a 302.
As the Fordification article points out if you use the I6/FE perches your engine will set a little high and might throw off the pinion angle.

**The reason the Parts Guys are confused is you're asking for parts to put a motor that was never offered in your truck in there, and in most cases, they have no knowledge of what newer OEM parts can be used to facilitate the swap. Ford did put 302's into Bumpsides, and Dentsides, and those trucks used basically the same front suspension as the Twin I Beam '65 & '66 Slicks.
So, you need to harvest the engine perches and motor mounts from a Bumpside or Dentside to make it all come together.
**The 302/351M/400 perches, when installed into your truck, will require you to drill one hole in the crossmember, as agin, that combo never came in a slick, so the hole was not drilled in the crossmember like it is on the newer trucks.

So...first off, Welcome to FTE 65F100USMC, Semper Fi, I could be wrong, as it has been a long while, but back before I went to Bootcamp, I took the 352 out of my 66 F100 and rplc'd it with a 300, and all I did was move the engine perches forward to the new existing holes... and then did the same years later when I was at El Toro, went from a V8 to an inline 6/300 the correct motor mounts/rubber for the engine is what I ended up purchasing from Napa... I never had any issues with pinion angles... but again, I could be wrong.. even on my 77 F250 when I was going to put a 300 in it, I moved the perches forward to existing holes, bought new mounts and all was good.
