Help!352 Engine Mounts orientation? 65' F100 3ontree
Hi my favor Ford compadres, jope that every one is enjoying what you are doing.
I need Advice please.
Recently I removed the engine on my 65 Ford F100,and removed the engine mounts without paying attention onthe orientation!
now that Im ready to install the 352 V8, I forgot in what direction are those Engine mounts metal bumps pointing go" are they suposed point up, or down? ( the ones that are locate in the engine mounts and that part seats right into the chassis bracket) I know the two Mounts are different, they are right and left bran new.
Thanks very much.

Muchacho:
The little bump goes up, so that the bolt sits in the bottom (narrow part) of the egg-shaped hole in the chassis mount and the bump is in the wide part of the hole. Your mounts should have three sides with metal folded over and one side "open", like a box with three sides. The open side faces forward.
