Hello FTE

Hello FTE! I am happy to be a part of the community. Thank you all for having me. I own a 91 F-250 XLT Lariat with the 7.3 IDI NA Diesel. I’ve owned for about a year and have worked on it myself through all the ups and downs this truck has given me. Look forward to sharing and conversing with you all.
Thank you once again.

New to Forum

Hi all. I am new to the forum but not new to my truck. I inherited it from my late husband in 2020 but it's been a part of our family since 2010. I have a 1968 Ford F250 Camper Special (sans the Camper, sold for scrap in order to move away to college) with a 1972 360 V8 5.9L engine.
I have been Ford loyal since I was young. Since my husband died, what could go wrong has gone wrong including the truck catching on fire and having to be completely rewired. If you've ever heard the expression too many cooks in the kitchen, well I've had too many hands on my engine, from well meaning people to people who talk a big game but have no idea what they're doing. It's hard being a woman with a classic truck because everybody wants to get their hands on it. I've been having some issues which I will post on other threads, but I have finally found a Chilton's that I could afford and it is waiting in my post office box for me to pick it up. Hopefully this will solve all my too many hands problems. I look forward to getting advice from people who actually know what they're talking about or who are at least Ford fans like myself.

Sorry for your loss . . . and for the shenanigans that have been happening with your truck.

Lots of great advice here! It looks like you're already getting some responses to your question in this thread in the "1967 - 1972 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forum.

Don't be afraid to start a new thread over there as well.

Welcome aboard!
