I just bought a 1994 f150 xl 4.9 with almost 200,000 miles on it she's clean and seems to drive good but I have a few minor problems and I expected that being 30 years old I plan on fixing her up completely 1 paycheck at a time. So my dashboard doesn't illuminate all the lights, my headlights only work on highbeam, my radio gets power to it but won't play, interior light doesn't work just little things so I bought a Chilton manual, obd1 reader(forgot extension cord didn't know better) fuse assortment with tester and new headlight bulbs I thought the first thing I'd do is go through make sure all the fuses work and replace any that don't and had 1 4amp fuse position 10 instrument illumination that didn't get power at all under dash and 2 10 amps position 6 and 7 under the hood not getting power, I replaced all of them and retested them and none of the 3 was getting power, the truck was Crunk and running so I was hoping someone on here could point me in the right direction, the 4 Amp under the dash position 10 did looked blown but the 2 10s under the hood looked good? Could it be the actual fuse board?
Do you have a dome lamp in your truck no the back of the ceiling> Does that work?
Yes I have a dome light and no it also doesn't work but I also haven't tried changing the bulb yet waiting on it to be delivered and most of my fuses get power just 3 oddball that don't

Buy an EVTM for your year. I prefer the paper one so I can have it beside me when at the truck, others prefer a digital copy so they can print whatever. No idea what they run now, but probably $20-40 seems reasonable.
I found another headunit if you want it. Basic CD, I think it is a Sony. Just pay freight, tired of this crap around my house.
