Well the flowmasters are known for drone, that is just part of the design. If you like the sound there are a few options.
1) extend the tailpipes to behind the rear wheels.
2) Add another muffler/resonator before or after the existing mufflers or x pipe. cherry bomb strait thru type.
3) Put some bends in the pipes, like going over the rear axle.
4) moving the muffler cases won't help very much but if your there...
Basic theory is you want to add discontinuities/reflections in the piping system. Bends and mufflers.
At one time I had flowmasters on my 2004 cobra. It had horrible drone. I added resonator before the x pipe (a box in this case).

welcome to the forum. I have mounted a Bronco bumper on my truck. It is easier to find than one from an F100. I made the brackets myself. The holders are different because I have installed a hitch.
