We’ve had the vehicle for two months, so far so good but the last couple weeks when the engine is cold when we first leave town going uphill it sounds like a bad pop or a stumble and it slightly shakes or bucks. or something. Seems to only do it going uphill and then when the engines warm it does not do it anymore. No smoke out the tailpipe when it does it.
The vehicle is parked in the garage, which is about 50°F
could it be stiction? I just ordered some Archoil.

Ficm? Injectors?
The oil additive or fuel additive? Also just curious what brand and weight oil you run?
Any codes?
What's boost psi at when this occurs?
50f garage temp, I wish lol 😆
Any contamination in oil or coolant?
Sounds like stiction to me, but that's just going off of info provided.

im crossing my fingers that it’s stiction. 5/40 full synthetic. Just changed it 1k miles ago. Yes I do have slight oil in my antifreeze. I think I need to do an oil cooler. But I also just bought the vehicle and the guy claimed that he did some work to it so I’m just hoping it contamination from what he did but I doubt it. I have flushed the system, and I decided to buy a new degas bottle because the OEM one was cracking around the seam
Could possibly be an injector, what brand oil did you use and do you have anything to read codes or watch what the engine is doing?
rotella t6
i have an iPhone with dash command which sucks. Or FORscan lite. With a wireless obd scanner. The truck also has a SCT. Can I use that to monitor what I need to check? I’m currently just watching oil. Coolant. Trans. And boost.
Just wondered if the engine was showing any codes, sounds like you can monitor what is going on. When it is cold out I have my trusty wax treated cardboard block off I slide in front of the radiator on my 03, she be a cold running little thing.
