kind of curious as to what versions of sync are on the 21 through 23 super duties.
My 21 has 3.4, I believe (might be off on build version).
The guy who removed the front side glass tinting on my truck has a newer model (built-in sidestep) f250.
I was lamenting not being able to lock my running boards down in the out mode on mine and he said his will do it but he uses the sync interface as opposed to the steering wheel based controls. I know he has the bigger screen but from what I read the f250s don't have sync 4, yet. So wondering if there is still hope that sync 3 will be getting more functionality in my 21.
Sync version has nothing to do with being a 250 or not, it has to do with year and trim. His '23 has Sync 4. Not an option for your '21. First year of Sync4 in the SD was 22MY. Lariat and up.
Regardless of where the setting is, in the dash (like yours) or the Sync screen (like his), the running boards will not remain in the out position over a certain speed. He claims that they will remain locked out while driving?
