clutch hookup

I Have A 83 F100 Longbed. My ? is :i put a 5-speed T-5 from a mustang in my truck i have it all hookedup . The problum is the clutch hookup for the T-5 is a cable. The 3-Speed that came out Has a Pushrod hookup. Do you know what i can do are how i can get this to work????????? I wood like to put the cable in if i can.

I have not messed with the cable setup but there must be a way to use it in your truck. Put on your creative hat. Look at a Mustang to see how it works.
