Front End Question
What axle is in the front of an 88 F-250 with 460/C6. It has the 10.25 sterling in the back. Also, anybody know what transfer case it should have? What are the gear ratio codes. (Will look at the sticker when I pick it up.

there should be a cast number on the front side. It's usually on the lower right side of center. I can tell the diff. of the 2 by hub sizes. the D44HD TTB uses the same standerd size hubs as a 1/2ton D44 and the D50TTB uses the larger hubs thats found of the D60's. If you'll do a search they had thread about how to tell between the 2 not long ago. But I can't remember in which forum it was in so I'd do the search over all the forums.
