I just bought this f-250 and realized that I haven't seen any other trucks with this two-tone color combination. I have only ever seen these colors the opposite way around. How often have you seen this combo? I find it rather unique.
I've seen it once or twice but not super often. Definitely not one of the more common ones you see...at least around the Kansas and Colorado area. Nice truck! Looks very clean.

Super nice truck there! I have gray center, dark blue outer, and I don't know what that color scheme is called either....
I am the 3rd owner of this truck. The second owner bought in 2002 and mainly used it for snow plowing (the truck is filled with many small dings because of it). I do not know much else about it.
There is a guy about a block up the street from me with a 94 in that combo. I tried to buy it from him a few times but he wont sell. I liked his truck so much it lead me to buy my 95 .
Looks, and sounds, like the same truck I saw on CL about 2-3 weeks ago....out in Reno, I think it was. If so, I chatted with the seller on the phone (thus the story that sounds the same), and there was another one with this same color scheme for sale out in Ohio at the same time. Same miles (approximately), but in much worse condition.
Funny thing is, I don't recall ever seeing this color scheme either (but who pays attention to other people's vehicles?), but after running across the Reno and Ohio trucks on the same day, I saw this very same color combo twice during my one hour commute to work that very week!

My mistake. I was looking all over the Country, and dealing on about 4 trucks at the same time, and I got them all messed-up. Your mention of Yakima triggered a "hit" in my feeble memory.....
Regardless, yup! That's the same truck! The Reno truck was all-white and had a huge Seattle Seahawks sticker on the back window.
I've seen the OP's color combo a bunch, but mostly on older trucks (late '70s/or 80s.)
I've never seen the two-tone color combo of my '95 anywhere, although I have seen one with the colors reversed running around here (25mi west of Cleveland OH.) Lots of white trucks with red, silver or blue inserts.
