Can you get a picture from a different angle, perhaps, from the side?
I don’t recognize it at all, but if that is an electrical connection on top with the nuts, it’s probably just a fuel selector valve. Switches between two tanks.
Does your truck have two tanks, or just one?
And frankly, if it’s a tank switching valve, it would have three hose connections. If it’s got just two, then, perhaps it’s a shut off valve instead.
But from this angle, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like that.
Looks like simple plumbing fittings. Maybe the thing on top is an electrical sensor, like Kenny was saying, threaded into a reducer bushing, threaded into a standard T-fitting.
