Proper Borg Warner Manuals

I'm looking for origial physical/digital copies of Borg Warner publications around the T98 and the 4 speed crash box. I don't have a particular immediate need such as a rebuild job, but I'd like to be able to dig in and learn about and reference the different housings, shafts, gear directions, early reverse gears with needle bearings vs later without and so much more. I'm hopeful someone can share what exact publications I may need to seek out and purchase, or freely download?

I bought the CD that is pervasively available online and it turned out to be a joke. It is simply a compilation of PDF prints of websites discussing the transmissions and sales catalogs of generic performance transmission rebuilders. It doesn't deliver on BW Parts Lists/Numbers or any BW proper publications. Doesn't scratch the surface on the differences of the early T98s used in our first generation F series.

Surprised nobody has had any pointers yet. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in?

Wondering if various shop manuals ( different years) might be of help?

Can't say as I've ever seen B-W manuals except for the later O/D trans and T5's. I checked The Old Car Manual Project website, nothing there.

@1952henry , I've got pretty much all of them, for a range of years, truck and passenger... It only helps with Ford applications and not necessarily industrial, or other makes. Today, with the T98, many parts are listed under Jeep applications today, and if I happen across an International Harvester T98, how could I tell/know if those parts fit back in to our early Ford T98s from the Ford Shop Manuals (or Jeep of International Manuals if I had them)? I could say similar about the T8/9 transmissions too!

@ALBUQ F-1 , yeah, I've been coming up empty handed, hence my inquiry...

I see your point regarding other applications. I know the IHC transmission had a long input shaft.

The DRW Jeep FC170 had a T 98, as well as the military M715/725 Vietnam era tactical vehicle.

I've heard that is not because it is an International, but because they are post ~1952... Again, love to have real consolidated set of documentation to sort out the many tidbits like this found here and there...

Not sure how much I trust it being that they have the incorrect shift pattern for the T98 nor any cursory mention of Ford truck amongst the other applications.
