Hello, I have a 2007 F-350 with the V10. Since I bought it last spring, I’ve had issues filling the fuel tank with the gas station pump constantly clicking off. I had it looked at once last summer and they replaced the evap vent valve. It seemed better filling up right afterwards but the problem was back by the next fill. I don’t drive it much but it’s still been bugging me. When I went to fill up last week, I tried unplugging the hose that plugs into the evap purge valve from the back of the vehicle (based on some videos I watched). I was able to completely fill up the tank without any issues with that hose unplugged. I connected it back up before leaving and went on my way. Now today, my CEL came on with a P0446 code which is the first time it’s done that. It seems this must all be related. I know the system is not venting properly based on my issues but I’m not really sure what to try next. I appreciate an insight you might have!
If you haven't done it check the vent line that runs from the tank to the filler neck. Make sure there is no low spots that can fill with fuel and prevent the vapors from being displaced by the fuel.

Having the same issue with a 2006 F-250 5.4L. Purge valve has been replaced. EVAP canaster has good flow. Vent line at the tank is good. What other suggestions do you have?
I got under my truck the other day and did some troubleshooting. I disconnected the EVAP canister and verified it has good flow. I also verified flow through the Vent Valve and associated hoses. Although I’m glad these parts all seem okay, I’m not sure where the restriction could be. The vent that runs from the tank to the filler neck looks fine. I was a little concerned with the angle of the filler neck itself but since the tank filled fine with the hose to the purge valve disconnected, that seems to rule out any issue with it (The previous owner put a flat bed on the back as the box was all rotted out so the filler neck was attached just underneath the bed and looks just about horizontal in one spot.).
