Don't really many deer on the highway but there are dozens roaming our streets. Dryden has a big problem with deer in town but then there are people that feed them too , I think they can be fined if they are caught doing it..couple years ago a friend went to answer the knocking at the door only to find that it was a deer eating the wreath on the door and juggling the knocker...lol
It is actually illegal to feed deer here but a lot of people do. Not me! LOL
No wone close to me have had a problem with the porch deer but the city dwellers talk about them sleeping on the porch and eating the plants off the porch! LOL
Morning Alabama, Steve, John, Buck and all the crew.
I hope everyone had a great night, Ma Nature was kind, and your coffee was hot and black this morning!
John, I didn't care for Moose the few times I had it. It was about like Elk, didn't taste bad but was rather bland. Heavily seasoned in a stew or something wasn't bad.
Deer can have a gamey taste if it isn't processed quickly!
Good morning Alabama, John, Rod and Buck.. it rained some last night and somewhat on the windy side as well.. today it is sunny and but cooler than yesterday..
Good afternoon everyone, got another inch that has added up to about 4 inches total. Shovelled the walks this morning and intend to pack the driveway down some more later..
Happy Hump Day Alabama, Steve, John and the elusive Buck! LOL
Gray skies, 34° to start the day, about 53° for the high, no sun, cold breeze and rain supposed to roll in about 2200 and last into tomorrow morning! The overnight will be in the mid to high 40's so no White Sheet!
I hope everyone is ready for the big day of Gluttony tomorrow!
Fantastic Friday Alabama, Steve, John and all the crew.
I hope everyone had a great day yesterday and didn't over stuff themselves. John, I know you did back in October, but you can always Celebrate again with us!
I was a good boy yesterday and didn't make a total pig of myself. One good plate and I stopped. However, I had enough that I didn't eat anything last night and a small breakfast this morning! I did most of the cooking and tasted/ate as I went like my Grandmother did! So, I was kind of stuffed by dinner time and worked most of that off making dinner! LOL
It is the Weekend Eve and almost time to really start the party! Here it will be a party of one with the cold, rain and a little white sheet falling. I am not going anywhere!!
Good morning Alabama, John, Rod and Buck.. I did a little cooking and sampling as well yesterday.. I ran out of sugar, so my coffee is a bit on the tart side.. it is a bit on the cool side this morning.. 2°C right now..
