Evening John and we made 83° (26.3°c) and the humidity did drop to 56% and we had a good breeze and more sun than the Soothsayers predicted. Wife and I went out in the afternoon and sat in the sun for about an hour. Felt pretty good. This evening the humidity has gone up as usual but the temp in coming down and it should be a nice evening. Hope you have one as well!
Good morning John, Ian, Rod and Buck.. I got some of my yard mowed yesterday as well John.. I need to call about tires for my Flex.. they are down to the wear bars..
Good afternoon Steve, tires are getting awfully expensive these days, I just put two new ones on the pickup that cost me $700, I hate to think what it will be when I buy the 6 tires this rig is going to need..I should left this damn thing in the field where I found it...lol
Good Tuesday afternoon Alabama, Steve, John and all the crew. It has been too hot the last 2 day to do anything without AC running on high. Today is the same at 96°, 45%rh, index of 105° and hot bright sun. I don;t plan on anything outside until late evening!
Stay in, Stay cool, if outside Stay hydrated and above all Stay safe!
ThongTastic Thursday Alabama, Steve, John and all the Dixie crew.
Yesterday wasn't a good day after going to the Dentist and having a failing filling replaced. See my WV post for the details - a little long.
In the afternoon we missed the 95° stopping point and we saw 99/100° for an hour and the index was 113°!
But today the Soothsayers crystal ball says 91°, mostly cloudy and a rh of 50%.
John, we have had less than 1/2 inch or about 13mm of rain in the last 2 months. Very dry ground and the only saving grace is the higher humidity has kept plants hydrated enough the keep the fire danger down.
Hope everyone has a Blessed Eve of the Weekend Eve!
Good day John, Ian, Rod and Buck.. I saw about a dozen rain drops on my windshield on the way to work yesterday.. Supposed to be hot and humid again today..
Rod, that vertigo stuff is a bit unnerving.. I have had a few spells myself..
