I am currently restoring my father 77 F250 Custom 2WD. Though it appears to not be a popular restore, He has passed and I learned to drive on it, so I thought it would be a good project for me and my boys. My cab is in really good shape except the floors. Nobody offers a good replacement, aside from the pans under your feet. But 67-72 offers a full floor replacement. If I am reading other threads correctly, the 67-72 floor pan is the same, and just added a 4" extension plate after the rear mounts? If that's the case, can I buy the 67-72 full floor pan, and add the 4" myself?
Appreciate any input on this subject, as I am not a seasoned body man!!

Do you weld? Then you could probably add...I have a '68...I bought a drivers side and a passenger side replacement and had my local shop weld in for me

I don't know the specific answer to your question... the floor on my 75 f150 looks extremely similar to my 67 f100 but idk how close or different they are.
I did want to say, i think it would be much easier to cut back to where you have good metal and only replace what you need to. the new replacement panels are rarely perfect fits and generally made of thinner metal. also keeping the cab straight and square when cutting out that much metal is a pretty tough job.
that whole floor is 1200... the foot wells are $60 each, rockers are $60 each, cab corners are about the same... you could be at $360 for that and most of the rest is pretty flat and you could just use 18g metal.

Thank you. Yes, I do weld. But these are not enough to repair the floor damage. I need most of the floor. Which is why I was surprised nobody offers a 73-79 assembly.
Thank you very much. Yes, this would be a great option. I'm just having trouble verifying that it will work on my 77, with me welding on an extension. I reached out to them, but they have not responded.

Thank you. Yes, that may be in fact the way I have to go. Unfortunately, it is very spotty on the floor where there is "good metal" . Otherwise this would be my first choice.
