Building our dream 2024 F350 Lariat Camper and looking into security. I've installed hidden fuel pump kill switches on older Gas rigs with good success. Has anyone installed one of these on a current model Super Duty? Looking for info on which wire to interrupt and if it causes the computer to go nuts when turned off? Any suggestions would be super helpful. And, yes, I have looked into the Ravelco and don't like the idea of having another "key" but realize this may be the best option for the diesel folks. Thanks!
I guess the easiest way to accomplish your goal would be to put an SPST switch on the inertia switch circuit. A relay with a control circuit would be a little more complicated, but would be a better solution.
I put a kill switch wired into my starter fuse. When you turn the key to “start” it does nothing other than light up the dash. I’m not a fan of fuel pump kill switch being the truck will start and travel a small distance. Would rather have my truck not start at all. Also being mine is a diesel having it run out of fuel can be a bit more problematic than a gas engine.
Yep, only way to go on a Diesel. But, I do like the starter fuse idea! i've heard of folks just removing the fuse but that seemed too obvious and easy to diagnose.

Not so obvious if you insert a blown fuse in the fuse socket and dont leave an obvious empty. Probably half a dozen different fuses need to carry current for truck to drive away on its own power. Starter solenoid and fuel pump circuits being the most obvious.
