Hello everyone, glad to be here. I'm from Penticton, BC, Canada. I've owned multiple older Ford trucks in the past (72, 74, 75, 78). I know my way around them pretty good. Not an expert though. I'm just starting a 1978 bronco build and I'm sure I will have some questions.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum. We hope you find some really cool and useful information here.
Hopefully this will get to someone? I jioned the site about a month or so ago.... Maybe longer? And have used this site for about 2 years now. Ever since I got my 78 Explorer. At first I was ecstatic about becoming a member, but now am feeling like a kid thats stuck on a question taking his final exam , senior year and graduation isn't looking to promising!!! Lol
Besides all of that, I really just want to thank the "Creators of the site". I'd be stuck, or broke, or both if it wasnt for the advice given , that I've read and taken for myself when it comes to my truck. I'm really looking forward to hearing from you guys on "how to use the site" ? If this gets to someone, I think I kinda understand how it works...... Hopefully? I'm a "hands-on" kinda guy and really good at anything I put my mind to, but these computers have got me whipped. And they're the only thing that I can't conquer when it comes to being "hands-on". I apologize for this being so lengthy, but I really want to understand how to use this site.
Thanks,
Robert F. Chapman III a.k.a Explorer78

In a nutshell, scroll through the main forums page to find the section related to your vehicle. Click that. Then, within that forum there are threads that others have started related to their vehicles and issues. Near the top at the left side, there is a button labeled "New Thread". Click that, then you can start a new thread with your issue. When you are finished typing, scroll down a little and click the [Submit New Thread] button. Once you do this, your thread will have been created and will have your post in it. Now, you can go back to the section related to your vehicle or elsewhere in the forums. Your thread will be on top of the stack by default. When others see your thread and respond, the responses will show up in order under your original post in the thread that you created. Later, you can go back into your thread to view responses and add more posts if needed.
Assuming we are discussing your 1978 Explorer here, I have linked the above paragraph accordingly.
